War and Beer Time Bridgend!

For the second year running Bridgend was taken back in time to the 40s for the annual Wartime Bridgend event. This time there was a lot more going on, with the indoor market having a crafts event and the monthly CF31 Street Market complimenting the outside activities.
As usual we were there to bring the best ales from Wales and this time we were upgraded to a double stall, enabling us to spread out a vast range of bottles, cans, mini-kegs and gift packs (we're considering a double stall on a regular basis now). With father's day the next day we had our best ever day and if we brought our usual amount of stock we would have sold out early on, but we now we must be the world record holders for the largest amount of beer you can fit in a Vauxhall Corsa!
As usual our loyal regulars came on mass and lots of new customers made sure that the stress on our poor little car was a lot less on the way back. We were once again joined by Lee from Dog's Window who came to help out and let customers know all about his beer. It's great to have him join us, and likewise I think it gives him good grounding and vital feedback for a new brewer and pretty much everyone who tried a sample, bought.
There was displays of wartime vehicles, singers doing wartime numbers and people dressed up in 40s attire.
